A Guide to Kosher Birthday Snacks
We love celebrating birthdays at Gan Shalom! Parents are welcome to bring a special treat for their child's class. To ensure all children can enjoy the celebration, please follow these guidelines when selecting a snack.
Kashrut Certification
When purchasing snacks, please ensure that the product is marked Kosher PARVE and bears an approved kosher certification symbol. Examples of the required kosher symbols can be found in the pictures below to help you identify acceptable products.
Birthday Snack Rules
Snacks Must Be:
- Store-bought only (no homemade snacks)
- Kosher PARVE
- Purchased from a certified kosher bakery or store (see list below)
